It’s always a good day when a new Sabin Rai song is released.

‘Baimaani’ is the latest song released by Sabin Rai & The Pharaoh; and it arrived with a music video starring Shekhar Chapagain, Karoona Shrestha, Nabin Neupane and Subash Timalsina. Directed by Robin Sharma, the video is edited by Anmol Rana Magar.

The music video for the song, that talks about the ups and downs of life and the unfulfilled dreams, is a flashback love story of an army veteran, played by Shekhar Chapagain. It’s a job well done but the only thing that had me say, “Oops!” was the scene where the younger male lead (Nabin) and his wife (Karoona) are seen using smartphones. I mean, those things didn’t exist back in the day. Anyway, apart from that, it’s a beautiful piece of work.

The band has Sabin Rai on vocals, Binod Lama on drums, Jeevan Lama on bass, and John Shrestha and Nikesh K.C. on guitars. The track is mixed and mastered by Steven Tamang.
