After a fun and romantic release two months back, Sushant KC has returned — but this time with quite a tearjerker.
It’s been a little over two months since the release of ‘Sarangi’, and Sushant KC has released another music video, and it’s quite a different flavor this time. The singer-songwriter’s new song and its music video touch the subject of brain drain.
The music video tells the story of tens of thousands of people who are leaving Nepal every month. And if you’ve been there, the video will surely hit you right in the feels — especially that airport scene where we see not only the actors getting emotional, but also the real people who are actually leaving home hoping to make a living for their families. That feeling, that pain is always so heavy as you try your best to hide your tears and put on a fake smile — not knowing when will be the next time you’re gonna see your loved ones.
With music produced by Foeseal; the song titled ‘Atteri’ is written, composed and performed by Sushant KC. “Atteri weaves emotions of longing, hope, and the enduring power of love that transcends physical barriers,” he expresses. “It’s a musical tribute to the strength and resilience of love in the face of distance.”
The music video, a work of Stellar Studios, is conceptualized, shot and directed by Nayan Rai. Here, watch this beautiful piece of work.
