Food delivery services save the day for your lazy asses and they are convenient af. No wonder there are so many of them; and almost all of them claim to to make hundreds of deliveries every single day. Y’all need to slow the fu** down on that, or don’t, whatever. Just eat healthy, sometimes, may be, I don’t know.

So anyway, Kantipur did kind of a survey recently as they got the list of most ordered food items from five major delivery services and the results are kinda shocking, to say the least. That’s a bit of an exaggeration; but it sure is shocking to know that momo is not the top food item ordered in Kathmandu valley.

Biryani tops the list, leaving momo in second spot. Still hard to believe, but it is what it is.

Next up on the list is burger, followed by pizza and fried chicken on fourth and fifth places, respectively.

Rolls (like chicken, egg and veg rolls) are the sixth most ordered food items, ahead of samosa and naan, which take the seventh and eighth places. Another shocker, chowmein — another crowd favorite — is way back in the list at ninth place.

The last spot in the top 10 list is taken by noodles.

Pathao Foods, Foodmandu, Bhoj Deals, Foodgunj, Khaan Pin, Bhok Lagyo are the industry leaders. Pathao claims to make six thousand deliveries on average everyday through the 550 delivery riders who deliver food from over seven hundred restaurants. Bhoj Deals, on the other hand, has 150 delivery staff who deliver the foods from over a thousand restaurants around the valley.

Well, it’s a booming industry that employs thousands of people. That’s great. But don’t do our homie momo dirty. Come on, gotta bring it to top of the list. Just kidding fellas, order what you want. I won’t be watching you or anything (or would I?)
