The Distinguished Gentleman’s ride is a global motorcycling event that takes places every year in over 100 countries around the world. Started in 2012 with the aim of “Classic and vintage style motorcycles, dressing dapper and riding to raise funds and awareness for men’s mental health and prostate cancer research”, the event has raised $44.86 million to date after conducting 893 rides so far.
The event this year was scheduled two weeks ago on Sunday, May 21; but in Kathmandu, it took place a day earlier on Saturday because of course, what better day than a Saturday for a day event in Nepal.
And where there are motorbikes, there’s Saurabh Jyoti.
No wonder the business tycoon and an avid motorcycle enthusiast was not only the part of the event, but also documented it for his YouTube channel SJ Moto.

The highlight of the video for me was when he sees an electric bike and goes, “Yo bike chahi ma sanga chhaina hai.” I mean, for most of us who own a bike or two are like, “I have this one”, but it’s the other way around for him. With the collection of dozens of motorbikes, there are only few models he doesn’t own. What a dude, man. What a dude!
