Friday turned out to be one helluva day for Nepali hiphop fans as a number of rappers put out their new tracks on the day.
If you have to find out what kind of versatility Nepali hiphop has, you can just check out the songs that were released on June 18. Whatever your taste, you’ll get something for yourself.
Uniq Poet gave us a two-minute “Vipassana” course and instantly made us feel better with his new track, produced by utsavog x hadouken beats.
Then came Symfamous, who got us thinking about that friend who we thought was a friend but was s/he, though? His song ‘Jugga’ is dedicated to the backstabbers. Produced by Lazyymii, the track is mixed and mastered by Francis.
The next drop came from Bizuli. ‘Raat Vari Toap’, as the name suggests, got us stoned af.
Kavi G is really an OG in the making and his latest work is a proof. ‘Hami Sabai’ talks about discrimination in the society. The track, that also features Prajna, is produced by Young Shadow.
Next up, Nasty & Grizzle, who dropped another banger called ‘Pressure’, a remix of J Cole’s ‘Applying Pressure’. Hmm, three (former) Underdogs released three different songs yesterday. Nice!
That’s not it yet. Ugen brought all the heat when he brought his horse. The rapper dropped the dopest music video of the day. Titled ‘Urgen Ko Ghoda’, the track produced by BoiOnKit has a music video done by Rooster. Issa good one.
I know, a number of other rap songs were also realeased yesterday but these are the ones that had my attention. So, which one’s your favorite among these?
