Last night (well, Monday morning in Nepal), someone became the 18th American Idol and it wasn’t Arthur Gunn. Yep, that sucks. He totally was a fan favorite to win the season, and kinda deserved it as well, but lost the title to Just Sam. And of course, many people had a lot to say about the finale and what better place than Twitter to take it all out.
So, without further ado.
Still can’t process.
Currently trying to figure out how Arthur Gunn didn’t win #AmericanIdol… pic.twitter.com/BucMXCJtfY

Reality shows, I’m telling you.
What Arthur Gunn lacks in sob story he makes up for in Talent. He’s the clear winner #AmericanIdol pic.twitter.com/KdbI3GevXw

No hate towards anyone but we all know this is true.
Just Sam, I'mma let you finish, but Arthur Gunn had one of the best voice of all time…. #AmericanIdol #ArthurGunn

Never. May be just once or twice but still, almost never.
Congrats to Sam but ARTHUR GUNN SHOULD HAVE WON AMERICAN IDOL. I’ve never been so disappointed in my life. #AmericanIdol pic.twitter.com/lLqq1MB1EA

Can’t, won’t argue.

That says a lot.
Arthur Gunn was robbed of ‘American Idol’ win, say 41% of viewers https://t.co/PiKkRYtJaK

Well.
Idol is so rigged this year. They’re acting like it’s live when it’s obvious it’s pre-recorded. Sam is a great singer, but was not the better singer. I know this is television but at least stop acting like America actually chose the winner with their votes #AmericanIdol

Totally possible.
We are happy for your win #justsam + and we are pretty sure #ArthurGunn is a winner too. Arthur may be runner up on this contest – but he will be a massive winner for many years to come. Arthur you are going to dominate the singing world and many Grammys for life. #AmericanIdol pic.twitter.com/fJUznDTew8

One hell of a talent.
Sorry- Just Sam didn’t deserve that win. #ArthurGunn was way more talented. Excited to see Arthur’s impact in the industry!! #AmericanIdol

Definitely going places.
The wrong person won. Not to take anything from just Sam she is awesome but isn't original. Just another great female voice. Arthur Gunn is unique and so talented. Looking forward to seeing where his career takes him #IdolFinale #arthurgunn
