From Bollywood star Deepika Padukone to ‘Baby Driver’ actress Eiza Gonzalez and supermodel Ashley Graham; here’s everyone who wore a Prabal Gurung dress to the 2018 Met Gala.
The Costume Institute Gala, more popularly known as the Met Gala, took place at Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York on Monday (May 7) this week. The event that is held on the first Monday of every May is often called the Oscars of the East Coast; and it’s not for nothing.
The biggest event on the Manhattan social diary, the annual fundraising gala for the benefit of the Metorpolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute witnesses an evening where fashion and charity come together. Each year’s event celebrates the theme of that year’s Costume Institute exhibition; and this year’s theme was ‘Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination.’
Attended by the luminaries mostly from the circles of fashion, music and movies; the guests hit the red carpet on Monday night – dressed as Jesus, the Pope, archangel, pastor and what not.
The dresses of a number of celebrities who attended the event were designed by Prabal Gurung. Take a look at them.
