Sagar Ale Gets The First Ever Standing Ovation In ‘Nepal Idol’ History


The current one being the first season of Nepal Idol, we were quite eagerly waiting to know who would it be to become the first ever Nepal Idol contestant to get the standing ovation from the judges. And the moment finally came.

The 14th episode, Agniparikshyaa, that aired on Thursday; saw nine contestants perform in an effort to make it to the gala round. All of them did their best and performed very well but it was only one contestant who got the deserving standing ovation.

Sagar Ale performed Dibya Subba’s ‘Timro Mann’, a song from ‘Pariwartan’ album. And he performed it so well that as soon as he finished his performance, all the three judges gave him a standing ovation; making him the first Nepal Idol contestant ever to get one.

This is definitely going to be one of the most special moments in Nepal Idol history. Watch the performance here.
