Ask us what love is and we’ll answer in just one word, food. You’re never sure if someone or something would always be by your side or not, but you can always be sure that ‘food’ will always remain by your side, in good times and in bad. And isn’t it even more amazing when you have your favorite food and you know that while you eat, someone who is in need will benefit from it? Best thing ever!
Octave Kathmandu, a restaurant located in Durbar Marg, has been having some celebrity guests make and serve sushi for their customers and the proceeds from the same go for charity of the host’s choice. Model Niti Shah is to host the next live sushi session on Sunday, February 26th along with Sangita Magar. The initiation by Niti will help collect funds for Sangita’s further education. The 2015 Basantpur acid attack victim is a grade 11 student at Nobel College.
“Interestingly, Sangita doesn’t even know that this session is being done to support her education. I had asked her to join me as it’s for a good cause, without giving her more details; and she had immediately agreed”, Niti told NeoStuffs. “I can’t wait to see her reaction at the end of the event when she finds out about the cause. She is a strong girl full of dreams and I want to see her fulfilling all of them.”
The event will take place from 2 PM. Here’s the promo video.
