John Chamling Rai’s ‘Hawa Jastai‘ is one of the biggest hits this summer — released around two weeks ago, the song already has garnered 4.5 million views on YouTube.

Well a good song is always followed by a number of covers — some of them can be really good, and then there’s always a Sajin Maharjan cover. Here’s a version — can’t call it a cover as the original singer-songwriter is also part of it — that I really liked. With Tunna Bell Thapa and John Chamling Rai himself on vocals; Sanjay Shrestha on piano and Nishad Shrestha on cello, this version is part of Skin & Bone’s series called Collaboration that releases live sessions of the songs.
