No wonder the most popular release of this week is “Je Chhau Timi” as two of the most loved artistes currently came together for this collab. The song by Swoopna Suman and Samir Shrestha, that was released on Saturday, already has over 4 million views in its first week on YouTube.
But, this post is not about that song.
A day later, on Sunday, Oasis Thapa dropped music video for his latest single. And this right here is my favorite song of this week; wait, let me correct myself, favorite new song of the month.
The song’s called ‘Anaadi’ and man, it’s beautiful.
Written, composed, produced and performed by Oasis himself, the track that features Sayam Awale on flutes is mixed and mastered by Foeseal. The amazing number has an equally good music video that stars Shakshi Shingh Bhandari, Akash Nepali and Sarita Kathayat. Directed by Gaurav Kumar Tamang and Rojan Ghimire, Nischal Khadka is the DOP of the video edited by Gaurav himself.
This isn’t a surprise as the singer-songwriter has already given us numbers like ‘Aparichit Bhaawanaa’ and ‘Juni Vari Lai’, among others. The song hasn’t yet blown up as it has under 200k views as of now; but I hope it does. Totally deserves it!
