Farewell to One of the Most Successful Batches of Miss Nepal

Within next few hours, Nepal will get its new beauty queens as the reigning Miss Nepal title holders will pass their crowns to their successors during the finale event of Miss Nepal 2019.

It seems like just a couple of months ago when Shrinkhala Khatiwada, Manita Devkota, Priya Sigdel and Ronali Amatya were crowned. Time flies by.

In last few months, the girls didn’t only represent Nepal at the international platforms but also made sure their presence is felt. No wonder, the lot of 2018 will go down as one of the most successful batches of Miss Nepal.

Shrinkhala Khatiwada, the 23-year-old architect who has become one of the most loved and popular Miss Nepal personalities, represented Nepal in Miss World 2018 in China. She was able to make it to the Top 12 in the competition, along with winning the prestigious Beauty with a Purpose award.

Manita Devkota, on the other hand, was Nepal’s bet at the 67th Miss Universe pageant. Only the second Nepali to take part in the competition, the dark horse surprised everyone when she placed in the top 10. The 24-year-old also won Miss Universe National Gift Auction award as her gift was sold at whopping 310000 Thaibhat (approx US$ 9751).

Priya Sigdel, who went to the Philippines to compete in Miss Earth 2018, secured her place in the top 18.

You girls have made Nepal proud.
