Two motion posters, three songs, three countdown videos to the teaser, a teaser, and three countdown videos to the trailer later; the theatrical trailer for Intu Mintu Londonma has finally been released.
Mostly shot in the UK, the 3-minute trailer starts with Dhiraj Magar teasing Samragyee RL Shah about finding her a kuire (a local) and her making it clear that she only wants a Nepali – someone like him, as a busker plays a love song in the background. Then of course, they fall in love and when it looks like it’s going to be “and they lived happily ever after”, there comes a villain — not exactly like a villain villain but still a villain in their love story.
The film will introduce the Youtuber-turned actor Dhiraj Magar, choreographer-turned director Renasha Bantawa Rai and Swoopna Suman as a playback singer in Nepali cinema. With ‘Dreams’ actress Samragyee RL Shah as the female lead, who was last seen in ‘Kaira’ opposite Aaryan Sigdel, the film also stars Saruk Tamrakar who had made his debut with ‘Raani’ last year.
Rai has not just directed the film but co-written and worked on its screenplay with Prajjwal SJB Rana and Abhimanyu Dixit, respectively. The trailer surely looks promising and we’ll find out if the film will able to live up to all the hype it has been receiving ever since it was announced when it drops on September 21st.
