One of Nepal’s most loved street festivals is returning this Saturday after a 3-year hiatus.
Durbarmarg Street Festival is making its much awaited comeback this week. The one-day festival is scheduled to take place on April 21st in the capital. As always, the fest is going to be full of fun, food and music.
The 13th edition of the festival, organized by Durbarmarg Development Board and managed by PartyNepal, will witness some rocking and soothing live performances by Cobweb, Neetesh Jung Kunwar, Nischal Basnet, Hercules Basnet and Trishala Gurung. For your EDM dose, six DJs – Finzok, BPM, Norchen, Punit, Black and Redmus – have been roped it to do their thing. Also, to fulfill your shopping cravings, there will be festival offers and sale at select outlets.
And of course, the entry is free.
The last edition of the festival was held on April 18, 2015 – a week before the nation was hit by the devastating earthquake. After all these years, it’s time for us to gather together (again) and celebrate this thing called life.
See you there!
