Samriddhi Rai, who gave Nepal its first adventure web series called ‘Sammy Adventures‘ in 2016, is returning with a second season. While the first season – which consisted of seven episodes – was released on YouTube; the second season would be aired on a national television channel which is yet to be decided.
Rai had traveled to various corners of the country shooting for the second season in the months of October and November last year. Unlike the first season which was narrated in English, the 12-episode second season will have the adventurer talking and narrating about her experiences in Nepali. She, however, plans to produce another short videos of the episodes in English for the international audience, which will be released on YouTube.
While we’ll have to wait a little more to watch the second season, a theme song for the series has just been released. Titled ‘Feel Alive’, the song is written, composed and sung by the ‘Prayas’ singer-songwriter herself. Shailesh Shrestha has produced the music for the English number. The music video edited by Binay Kansakar consists of various clips from the first and second seasons of the series.
