It’s great that our filmmakers have not only started experimenting with films but also with the music and soundtracks in them.

We’ll need to think real hard to try and remember when was the last time there was a rap-rock soundtrack in a Nepali film. Anyway, there’s one in ‘Naakaa’.

Released on Friday, the ‘Naaka’ soundtrack has Rohit Shakya on the beat, Robin Tamang with his amazing rock vocals, and Uniq Poet spitting bars. The freaking spectacular soundtrack comes with the video that has deleted scenes from the film.

The film directed by Amit Shrestha stars Bipin Karki, Thinley Lhamo, Robin Tamang (of Robin and the New Revolution) and Shiva Mukhiya (the vocalist of The Axe), among others. The film is scheduled to release on March 1st.
