On Friday, Feb 10th; designer Tenzin Tseten Bhutia showcased his collection in an event titled Fashion Fridays Edition – 1 at Karma Lounge in Kathmandu. The show was divided into three different sequences – Carnival, Love and Le Creativite.
The show kicked off with Carnival sequence. As the title suggests, it had the feel of a carnival and even had some acts such as ring juggling going on around while the models walked the ramp. February being the month of love, the second sequence was all about romance in which the designer played with the red color. And the show ended with Le Creativite sequence which had more of haute couture clothing. It was inspired from the roman army. Actress Mala Limbu was the showstopper and appeared as a princess with faux feather on the collar and a wing.
The show choreographed by Sijan Bhattachan had eight models flaunting the designs – Sabita Karki, Neha Banu, Aruni Waiba, Muna Gauchan, Soni Shrestha, Barsha Thakali, Nikki Karki and Sophia Shrestha. The even was hosted by Samriddhi Rai.
