Bipul Chettri & The Travelling Band who were recently in Japan on their ‘Maya’ tour performed in Tokyo on Sunday. The band paid homage to Yama Buddha during the concert held at Rune Kodaira Hall in Kodaira. They dedicated and performed ‘Ram Sailee’ for him. A picture of the deceased rapper was shown on the big screen while the band performed the song from ‘Sketches of Darjeeling’ album. “Yo geet ma hamro ekdum talented artiste hunu hunthiyo, waha hip-hop ra rap artist jo ahile bitnu bhayo. Yama Buddha bhai, so this song is dedicated to him. Gana ko naam chahi Ram Sailee,” (This song is dedicated to an extremely talented hip-hop and rap artiste, Yama Buddha, who is no more now. The song is called ‘Ram Sailee’), Chettri said before performing the song.

Balram Bikram, a fan who attended the event, told NeoStuffs, “It was a very emotional moment and I could see some people even had wet eyes during the performance.”
