Jung Bahadur Ko Coat had received good reviews from the audiences when it was premiered in Melbourne last year. The film is finally all set to hit the theaters in Nepal this week. Most of the parts of the fictional thriller that revolves around the antique coat of Jung Bahadur which is sought after by international mafia, is filmed in Australia. The film starring Anup Baral, Bimles Adhikari, Bishow Basnet and Suchitra Acharya is produced by Pramod Kumar Khadka and Jayendra Khadka. Directed by Australia based film-maker Ashish Bhetwal, the story of the film is written by Yogendra Khadka.
“We’ve worked really hard and have given our bests. We’re hopeful that the audiences will enjoy the film”, actor Adhikari told NeoStuffs. Director Bhetwal too is hopeful that his directorial debut film will thoroughly entertain the mass. A graduate from Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts, he was in Nepal earlier this year to direct his second film titled ‘Hero Returns’ starring Rekha Thapa and Sabin Shrestha. “I feel bad that I couldn’t be in Nepal during the release of my first film because of my other commitments. But I really hope that cine-lovers will enjoy what we’ve created with full honesty and hard work,” he told in a phone conversation.
The film releases on Friday, November 11th. Watch the trailer here.
