Looks like having the most number of public holidays in the entire world wasn’t enough for Nepal and so the government has declared public holidays during the upcoming state visit to Nepal by the presidents of India and China. According to Government Spokesperson and Minister for Information and Communications Surendra Kumar Karki, a meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Thursday decided to give the government holidays during the visit by the presidents of the neigbouring countries.
President of India, Pranab Mukherjee, is scheduled to arrive on November 2 on a three-day visit. On the other hand, Chinese president Xi Jinping’s schedule has not yet been fixed.
