The five-month economical blockade taught us quite a lot of lessons, and the most important one being – there would always be people (nations) who would try and act like they are your friends but inside, they are there just to take advantage of you. They are no better than ‘ghosts’ who keep on creating troubles for us. And that’s what the latest song from ‘Ram Naam‘ singer Ankit Babu Adhikari talks about. Our Southern neighbor has been symbolized as ‘Nau Futey Bhoot’ (nine-feet ghost) who suffocated the people for their own benefits. The whole song quite perfectly gives us a glimpse of what exactly had happened back then.
“Nau Futey Bhoot represents the mixture of all the things that led to the blockade – failed leadership, selfish people, and our dependency on the neighboring country among others”, Adhikari told NeoStuffs. The song is written, composed and performed by himself.
