Mental Radio, a pop-rock band from Kathmandu, have released their debut self-titled album in an event held at Moksh on Friday where they played their songs. The band that was formed in 2010 was reformed in 2015 with a new line-up. The band that consists of Garima Gurung on vocals, Nischal Gurung on guitars and vocals, Iman Bikram Shah on guitars and back vocals, Ashim ‘Funky’ Tamang on bass and back vocals and Sanjog Pradhan on drums; had so far been playing cover songs at various gigs.

The first music video from the album has recently been released. The song titled ‘Nasodha Malai’ sounds something different and very fresh. The song written by the vocalist Garima Gurung herself talks about the pain one goes through after splitting up with a loved one. The music video that has National Award winning actress Reecha Sharma and ‘Junge’ actor Kevin Karki is directed by Kasam Nepal and edited by Ujjwal Dhakal. The song and its music video go along very well.
