HRH Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana recently graced the cover of Vogue Thailand’s June issue and we are astonished to see how strongly she resembles Nepalese supermodel, Paramita RL Rana. The only daughter of Crown Prince Maha Vajralongkorn and Sujarinee Vivacharawongse, the 29-year-old is a fashion designer by profession.
Though the Thai Princess and the Nepalese model can’t actually be called doppelgängers as they look quite different otherwise, we are pretty surprised how this cover has turned out to make them look like lookalikes.
Some pictures of Paramita.
Interestingly, Paramita who is soon to make her silver screen debut with ‘Chapali Height 2’ releasing on 18th August, too has some ties with the former Royal family of Nepal. She is in fact a distant cousin to the queen mother. Also, her grandfather had received the prestigious ‘Gorkha Dakshin Bahu’ honorary award from the late King Birendra himself. Pretty interesting, right?
The 22-year-old entered the modelling industry in 2011 with a shoot with fashion photographer, Kishor Kayastha, for Folio Magazine. She then walked the ramp for the first time at Kathmandu Fashion Parade and the rest is history. She is currently one of the most sought after Nepali models who represented Nepal at Asia Model Festival held in S. Korea earlier this year.
Well, both of these amazing ladies are the prides of their nations and both of them are the bests in their fields. Take a bow, princesses!
Here, we have some more photographs of Princess Sirivannavari from the photoshoot for Vogue, shot by Nat Prakobsantisuk.
