After screening at various international film festivals in over a dozen countries, ‘Kalo Pothi’ is all set to hit the theaters in Nepal this Friday. The film that bagged Best Film award at the 72nd Venice International Film Critics’ Week in Italy is  written and directed by Min Bahadur Bham. The film stars Khadka Raj Nepali, Sukra Raj Rokaya, Jit Bahadur Malla, Hansha Khadka, Benisha Hamal, Nanda Prashad Khatri, Bipin Karki and Pravin Khatiwada. Set in early 2000s, the film tells the story of two friends who set out on a journey to find their missing hen during the civil war period. The film produced by Anna Katchko, Tsering Rhitar Sherpa, Min Bahadur Bham, Debaki Rai and Anup Thapa under the banners of Shooney Films (Nepala), Tandem Production (Germany), Mila Productions (Nepal), CDP (France) and Kaldhungi Films (Nepal) is to be released in a limited screens in Nepal.
