14th May, 2016 – Yes, that’s the date you need to mark on your calendar, right now. That’s the day when you will witness one of the grandest events ever happened in Nepal. The event titled ‘Amar Panchhi: Rising From The Ashes’ is organized by Nepalese Army Wives Association (NAWA) and managed by Alpenglow Events. The team who had brought Mohit Chauhan to Nepal 3 years ago and entertained over 28,000 people; is all set to bring two big names from Bollywood this time. Yes, that’s right; for the very first time Sonakshi Sinha and Malaika Arora will be performing in Nepal. Joining them on stage would be six of the most loved Nepali actresses: Priyanka Karki, Rekha Thapa, Keki Adhikari, Nisha Adhikari, Reecha Sharma and Sushma Karki along with singer Indira Joshi. The dance performances are choreographed by the ace choreographer Renasha Rai and the ladies will be flaunting beautiful costumes designed by Ashrita Bhadel for Crossroad Apparel. Sakil Kunwar would be the one to make sure that all of them look like angels with his on point hair and makeup skills. The event hosted by Sahana Bajracharya will also have 50 backup dancers to make the performances even grander.
That’s not it yet, the best thing about the event is that the proceeds will be used for the rehabilitation of the earthquake victims. The organizers are expecting an audience of over 60,000 people.
