Yadav Kumar Bhattarai’s directorial film ‘Jhola’ has been officially released online. The film is based on Krishna Dharabasi’s story of the same name about Sati culture in which a woman would have to kill herself through self-immolation upon her husband’s death. The film produced by Malati Shah, Ram Gopal Thapa, Raj Timalsina & Shusil Shah; stars Garima Panta, Sujal Nepal, Deshbhakta Khanal, Laxmi Giri, Deepak Chhetri and Pralhad Khatiwada. Actress Garima Panta had won Best Actress award at SAARC Film Festival held in Sri Lanka, 2014 for her role in this film. The film was selected as the Nepali entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 87th Academy Awards.
