Hostel Returns, produced by Sunil Rawal under the banner of Durgish Films, is all set to release this Friday on August 21st (Bhadra 4). The film directed by ‘Maun’ fame Suraj Bhushal is a sequel of 2012 blockbuster ‘Hostel’ that had introduced Anmol KC, Salon Basnet and Prakriti Shrestha. None of the previous starcast has been repeated this time. The sequel stars newbies Sushil Shrestha, Shashi Shrestha, Swastima Khadka, Abhay Baral and Najir Hussein. The startcast also includes Deeya Maskey and Sunil Rawal.

Rawal who has a cent percent record so far at the box-office with his two previous films ‘Saayad’ and ‘Hostel’ is confident about his new venture as well. In an exclusive conversation with NeoStuffs, he said that he and his team have worked very hard for the film, not only for the production but promotions as well and so he believes that the hard work will pay off.

Along with a promising starcast, popular music and good promotions; the other plus point that the film will gain from is that it won’t have a very tough competitor this week from local or foreign films as no other big film is scheduled to release along with it. So this film will enjoy a smooth week without some serious competition untill next week when two of the other giants — the much talked about film ‘Resham Filili’ and action star Nikhil Uprety’s comeback film and directorial debut ‘Bhairav’ hit the silver screens.

The film which has already been screened and appreciated in Australia is soon to be screened in dozen of other countries. Looking at the producer’s reputation, director’s previous record, promising newcomers, popular soundtracks, good feedback on trailers and the massive amount of promotions; Rawal might hit the hattrick of successful films with this flick.
