IIFA 2015: Binod Pradhan Wins Best Cinematographer For ‘2 States’


Binod Pradhan has won the award for Best Cinematographer at International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) 2015 for his work in Arjun Kapoor – Alia Bhatt starrer ‘2 States’.

The Nepalese Indian cinematographer who hails from Darjeeling and has worked in many award winning films such as Devdas, Munna Bhai MBBS, Rang De Basanti, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag; will be soon debuting as a director with an untitled love story.

The 16th edition of one of the most prestigious Indian film award ceremonies was held between June 5-7 at Kuala Lampur, Malaysia to honor the best movies of the year 2014. This year’s top awards were bagged by Shahid Kapoor (Best Actor for Haider), Kangana Ranaut (Best Actress for Queen), Rajkumar Hirani (Best Director for PK) and Queen (Best Film). The event hosted by the Gunday duo Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor is scheduled to telecast on July 5th on Colors TV.
