‘Jungle Festival’ in Pokhara: Fun In The Lap of Nature

One of the most popular events in Pokhara, Jungle Festival, is back with even more interesting and new activities. The second edition of the festival organized by Parichay Nepal with the tagline ‘A Green Week’ will be held from February 13-19 (Falgun 1-7) at Shantiban Vatika. The best thing about the festival will be the feeling of sitting, walking and enjoying in the lap of nature with the wildlife and a serene environment all around. There will be awareness and information related booths giving away knowledge about the wildlife and environment. There will also be many recreational activities as well like the musical concerts, fire shows, nature themed fashion show, cultural and modern dance performances, tattoo/facepaint stalls, handicrafts, art gallery, photo studio, research/training booth and various other things. The festival will be open from 9 AM to 6 PM and the organizers expect the numbers of visitors to be around 1,15,000 in a week.
