Kingfisher Calendar is the most glamorous and prestigious fashion calendar in India. The calendar that has been published annually since 2003 is credited with advancing the careers of models and actresses like Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone, Yana Gupta, Ujjwala Raut, Nargis Fakhri, Bruna Abdullah, Lisa Haydon, Karishma Kotak and Angela Jonsson.

For the first time, a Nepali model has been featured on the calendar. Aastha Pokharel, the supermodel from Kathmandu, had won the NDTV Good Times’ reality television show ‘Kingfisher Supermodels 2’ to get featured on the calendar along with other four supermodels – Sarah Jane Dias, Dayana Erappa, Elena Fernandes and Keisha Lalland.

The shoot took place in the exotic locations across Turkey. These beauties have been styled by Nupur Mehta Puri and Mohit Rai; make-up artist Kapil Bhalla; hair stylist Apeni George, and captured on lens by none other than ace photographer Atul Kasbekar, who has been associated with the Kingfisher Calendar since its inception.
