Subin Limbu will leave for London (UK) on November 19, 2014 and the finale for Miss World is scheduled for December 14, 2014.

In the Miss World Pageant Subin Limbu will participate in 5 fast – track events, namely, Beauty with a Purpose, Multimedia, Fitness/ Sports, Beach Fashion and Fashion Top Model awards. Winning any of these fast – track awards will enable her to be among the top 20 in the pageant.

This year for the Beauty with a Purpose award in the Miss World Pageant, Subin Limbu is focusing on an education project involving primary level school children. Her project will take her to the Far – Western region of the country (Bhajang, Dailekh and Shivakot) where she will spend about a week with primary level school children. Breaking from the tradition of just books and copies and with the help of integrated technology such as animation/ laptops, she will teach children how to make education fun and participatory so that they will be attracted to go to school. She will motivate the children to develop a unique independent attitude and not depend on teachers only. In this project, Subin will closely work with Open Learning Exchange (OLE) organization which has been engaged in this new process of education in primary level school children here.

This year the theme of Miss Earth pageant is promoting Eco – Tourism and each contestants are expected to submit a video clipping of their involvement on the theme which will also assist them in their overall judging in the pageant. As such in her week long project covering Lukla, Namchhe including the Everest Base Camp, Prinsha closely worked with local farming communities which only grow potatoes. Besides making potato cultivation economically variable for local farmers, she engaged them to grow the product organically. She urged many of the hotels/ lodges to use this local product as everything in the area is imported. In doing so thousands of mountaineers/ trekkers can avail of hygienic and organically produced variety of potato based food which would be healthy and prevent tourists from falling sick. Besides promoting the Everest Region for tourism around the world, her project also would assist the locals economically while promoting Eco – Tourism as well. During the pageant Prinsha is also planning to wear some clothes organically produced through natural fibers designed and created by Karuna Natural Wears.
