The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) recently appointed its first ever Chief Executive Officer and Finance Manager – Bhawana Ghimire and Prakash Maharjan respectively. Both of them are currently on provisional contracts which will be confirmed after they complete six months.

Bhawana completed her Masters in Business Administration from the University of Wales, UK. She has worked with Punjab National Bank in London and then with a wealth management company in Bahrain, where she was also involved in work relating to Formula One, the English Premier League and the Spanish La Liga. She played cricket in college level.
