One of Pokhara’s precious heritages – World Peace Pagoda (Bishwa Shanti Stupa) is currently facing the danger for it’s existence. A huge landslide occurred on August 25th has given it a risk of collapsing. The Peace Pagoda Committee is currently collecting funds in order to renovate the site. This tourist and religious destination is not only the pride of Pokhara but the entire nation and so it’s our responsibility to help and protect it from vanishing. The funds can be handed over to the officials at Pagoda or can be deposited in the following bank account:
