The song from Dui Rupaiyan has just created history!

‘Kutu Ma Kutu’, a song from ‘Dui Rupaiyan’ film has just reached 20 million views milestone on YouTube, becoming the fastest Nepali song to achieve the feat. The song that was released on the video-sharing platform on May 28th this year took a little over three months to enter the 2 Crore club on YouTube.

Earlier this year in June, ‘Surkhe Thaili Khai’ from Woda No. 6 had become the first ever Nepali song to reach 20 million views on YouTube, after more than 20 months of its release. Loot 2 soundtrack ‘Thamel Bazar’ then became the second Nepali song to reach the milestone, breaking the record of Surke Thaili, as it took only ten months to reach the number.

‘Kutu Ma Kutu’ is the third Nepali song that has crossed over 20 million views. The song written by Rajan Raj Siwakoti is sung by Rajan himself along with Melina Rai and Rajan Ishan. Mixed by Shyam Swet Rashaili, the song is arranged by Rajan Ishan.

The real life couple of Nischal Basnet and Swastima Khadka are seen sharing the screen for the very first time in the video. The film that stars Basnet in the lead role, along with Asif Shah and Buddhi Tamang is directed by Asim Shah. It’s slated for its release on September 8th.
