National Cricket Coach Pubudu Dassanayke Receives Human Values Award

Nepal National Cricket Team coach Pubudu Dassanayke was awarded the Human Values Award by Human Values For Peace and Prosperity on Monday, March 16th for his great contributions towards Nepali cricket. It was under his coaching when Nepal had played their first ever world cup match at ICC T20 World Cup on the same day last year.

Purushottam Neupane, Minister of Youth and Sports, was the chief guest of the felicitaion programme held at Happy Futsal, Kathmandu where former Nepal captain and assistant coach Binod Das, skipper Paras Khadka, Sarad Vesawkar and Prithu Baskota, banker Anil Shah and actor Nisha Adhikari too were present.

After accepting the award, Pubudu expressed his wish to be born as a Nepali if there is reincarnation. He could not control his emotions and tears could be clearly seen rolling down his eyes.

NeoStuffs would like to congratulate our most successful coach on receiving the award and we hope he would take Nepali cricket to even more heights. Do share your wishes in the comment section below. Here are some moments in photographs from the event.
