Aanchal Sharma is facing backlash once again after a video clip of her body shaming an aspiring model at an event is going viral.
The actress was one of the three judges at the audition for the 12th edition of IEC Designer Runway at The Ministry Bar & Cafe in Gairidhara, Kathmandu on July 1st. The event was streamed live online and at one moment the ‘Jhingedaau’ actress was heard saying, “Usle kehi khadaina kya ho” (looks like he doesn’t eat anything) when a male model started walking on the ramp. When the other judge replied that may be he is maintaining his body, she further said, “Yeslai maintain bhadaina ni, malnutrition bhaninchha.” (It’s not called maintaining, it’s malnutrition.)
She was there to judge the aspiring models and damn, it looks like she really “judged” them, and not in the healthiest way. Not cool.
Aanchal seems to be struggling to stay away from controversies as it’s not the first time that she has been under fire. She has been criticized a number of times in the past as well for her comments and statements in some interviews.
She definitely needs to take it slow aye.
