Aashma Biswokarma dancing with the green alien is the best thing on the internet today!

If you have spent some time on social media in last few weeks, you are probably familiar with a dancing green alien. The short animated video of the creature dancing to Panamanian DJ El Chombo’s ‘Dame Tu Cosita’ (which literally translates to ‘give me your little thing’) had first landed on Dailymotion on October 16, 2017. Five months later, in March this year, the video arrived on the mobile live streaming platform Musical.ly – where the users have turned it into the ‘Dame Tu Cosita Challenge’, as they are recording themselves imitating parts of the dance.

While the video was already huge on the internet, Ultra Music even made it bigger last week as the music label that claims to be “the #1 indie dance label”, released a full-length official music video for the Spanish song on its YouTube channel (that has over 10 million subscribers) on April 5th. Within four days, the video has garnered over 11 million views on the video-sharing platform.

On Sunday evening, Aashma Bishwakarma aka Bgirl Sky of The Cartoonz Crew posted a video of herself dancing to the tune on the crew’s YouTube channel. And well, what do we say, she has absolutely killed it. No wonder the video has been viewed over 260,000 times in less than 24 hours.
