Anmol KC is currently one of the biggest stars in the Nepali film industry. After giving four back-to-back hits – Hostel, Jerryy, Dreams and Gajalu – the 23-year-old actor will soon be seen in Kri, an action flick. But we’re not exactly talking about him or his films here, but someone else.

As they say, a person has 7 doppelgängers around the world; looks like we’ve found one of Anmol KC.

He does look uncannily similar to the ‘Jerryy’ star, right?

The 18-year-old from Suryabinayak, Bhaktapur is an aspiring dancer. The BIT student at The British College in Kathmandu sometimes performs at events and has also been part of some dance and cover song videos.

Shrestha has recently achieved something big. He has been signed by Blink Nepal Talent Management and will be traveling to Mumbai to be part of Rannvijay Singh Singha’s lifestyle and adventure web series called SquadRann.

“I will have my 55-day training in Nepal before appearing on the show. MTV Roadies winner Shweta Mehta will be training me for it”, he told NeoStuffs. The training starts from October 30th.

On being asked if people have ever confused him for Anmol KC, “Yes”, he answered. “It did happen sometimes when people stopped me to take pictures.”

Shrestha says he has watched Anmol KC’s films and respects him for his contribution in Nepali cinema, but he is not a fan. It turns out, he is a Bipin Karki fan instead. He, too, aspires to become an actor and has been learning acting and dance from Gamvir Bista.
