Rapper Divine To Play His First Gig In Nepal This Month

Vivian Fernandez, more popularly known by his stage name Divine, is all set to perform in Nepal for the very first time.

The Mumbai rapper who literally started from the bottom and is now making it to the top, will be performing at The Factory in Thamel, Kathmandu on August 18th.

Born and brought up in the slums of Mumbai, Divine quickly came into spotlight when he started writing and rapping about his struggles, and life-story. Life took a turn when the underground rapper was signed to Sony Music India; and then became the first Indian artiste to have a single released worldwide by Apple music. He is also the inspiration behind acclaimed Bollywood filmmaker Zoya Akhtar’s upcoming film based on the underground rap scene in India.

‘Yeh Mera Bombay’, ‘Mere Gully Mein’, ‘Jungli Sher’, ‘Farak’ and ‘Scene Kya Hai’ are some of his biggest hits.

So, who’s excited?
