Earlier this year in March, Jet Li was on a short trip to Nepal. During the trip, the ‘The Expendables’ star visited Asura Cave and Yanglesho Cave, located in the southern area of Kathmandu Valley, on the way to Pharping.
Li, on Friday, shared some of the photographs from his trip on his official website. According to the details posted on the website, the 53-year-old former Wushu champion visited the place where Guru Rinpoche, Padmasambhava achieved the stated of Mahamudra. During the journey, he met few teachers and went to retreat in 2 different places for seven days.
The most memorable part of his trip according to the website was the time when he saw double rainbows at the end of his retreat. The lamas told him that they had not seen a double rainbow in fifteen years, which made the actor feel like it was an auspicious sign.
