Tupac Shakur Biopic ‘All Eyez On Me’ Not Released In Nepal

Along with the audiences worldwide, ‘All Eyez On Me’ was an anticipated film for the Hip Hop lovers in Nepal, too. But looks like the Nepali fans will eventually have to watch the film online as it is not getting a theatrical release in the country.

The Tupac Shakur biopic is getting a worldwide release today on June 16th which happens to be the ’90s Hip Hop legend’s 46th birthday.

For over two decades, Tupac’s death has remained a mystery, and this film seeks to talk about this, as well as the sexual cases that dragged him to court, along with his music career. Directed by Benny Boom, the film produced by Morgan Creek Productions stars Demetrius Shipp Jr in the lead role. Also starring in the film are Jamie Hector, who plays Tupac’s father, along with Kat Graham, Lauren Cohan, Hill Harper and Danai Gurira.

The title of the film is a reference to the rapper’s fourth studio album, which was released a few months before he was killed in 1996 in Las Vegas. He was 25 at the time.
