Priyanka Karki & Ayushman DS Joshi Talk About Rumored Relationship For The First Time

A lot  has been written and said about the rumored ‘love affair’ between Priyanka Karki and Ayushman Desraj Shrestha Joshi lately, but none of them came from these very two people. And finally, they have spoken about it. In an interview with Kantipur Saptahik that has been published on this week’s edition, the two opened up about their ‘rumored’ relationship.

“We are close friends; in fact, our relationship is little above friendship”, Karki told the interviewer. The two didn’t actually accept that they are in a relationship, but at the same time, they didn’t deny it as well. Their friendship had started when both of them were studying in Rato Bangla school in Kathmandu. Priyanka was in grade 6 when the 2nd grader Ayushman found her crying alone one day in school and asked her not to, he remembered. And that was when they had talked for the first time and had become friends.

The two were friends since long and became better friends once they started working together. They first worked together in Binu Pandit’s 2015 music video ‘Sara Din’; and later even collaborated in ‘Maya Ta Maya Ho’ and ‘Like I’m Gonna Lose You’ cover songs that they sung together. They are now working on their first film titled ‘Katha Kathmandu’ together.

“It can’t actually be called love, but you can call it deep friendship between each other. It’s even better to say that we’re connected in vibes”, Ayushman told about their relationship. He admitted that he is no more in relationship with Paramita, with whom he had even made his silver screen debut in ‘Chapali Height 2’. However, he made it clear that Priyanka had nothing to do with it. “That relationship was a different side of my life and has nothing to do with Priyanka. I am not in that relationship anymore, and Priyanka was not a part of that story. The relationship I share with Priyanka is a different story”, he explained.

“We’re living in this moment right now. We’re not thinking about what’s going to happen in next moment or tomorrow. And that’s why we haven’t thought anything about the future of this relationship, or its destination. Both of us believe in the power of the universe. In fact, we exist because the universe does. It’s better to enjoy the moment now than to imagine the future this relationship will bring to us”, the two further added.

Phew! Looks like we have to hire Sherlock Holmes to figure out what their relationship is all about because it looks pretty ‘complicated’. Now we know why Facebook has that relationship status option. Anyways, what we’ve figured is that they enjoy each other’s company and are not thinking or planning anything about their relationship or future, and are living in the moment instead. It’s fine, take your time, guys. Know each other well, spend some time together and may be after some time, try and figure out what it is.
