As they say; all good things must come to an end; the first season of Asish Syangden’s insanely entertaining live Facebook show, #AsishLive, came to an end on Wednesday night. The 20-episode season that started with a ‘momo treat’ with the host as a giveaway, ended with Rs. 85,000 worth of giveaways on its last episode in collaboration with Sasto Deal.
Unlike the previous episodes, the season finale didn’t take place at Syangden’s home studio but Sasto Deal’s office. The 2-hour episode that started with Jyovan Bhuju singing his rendition of ‘Thamel Bazar’ had some amazing performances by Surakshya Malla and All Star Band – that consists of two of the finest Nepalese guitarists ever, Sarad Shrestha from Tumbleweed Inc and Sunny Manandhar from Albatross along with Spirit X vocalist Abhishek S. Mishra. Some awesome music, dozens of giveaway winners and a lot of entertainment – the episode was nothing but crazzyyyy!!
We have no idea what we’re going to do on Wednesday nights until the show makes a comeback with its second season that Asish Syangden assures would be bigger and better. Can’t wait.
