Forbes has just released the 2017 edition of its “30 Under 30” lists for Asia and Nepal’s Prabhat Yadav has made it to the list in ‘Media, Marketing & Advertising’ category. The founder of Explore Gadgets, a popular tech YouTube Channel, had earlier become the very first Youtuber in Nepal to recieve a Silver Play Button award from YouTube for reaching 100,000 subscribers.
“Yadav’s Kathmandu-based company Explore Gadgets began as a YouTube channel in 2012, just after he’d completed his final year of school. The channel introduced his Nepalese audience to the latest technological gadgets, which are often difficult and expensive access in Nepal”, Forbes writes about the 23-year-old.
Yadav is the content creator, producer and editor of the YouTube channel that currently has over 400,000 subscribers. His team consists of Ayush Dhoj Bista who does the voice overs, Samman who looks after games and audio equipment reviews, Saphal who does reviews on apps, and Sohil who handles all the PR and scripts.
“I am extremely glad to see that we’ve been featured in this prestigious list. The commitment and dedication is finally paying off. We have been trying hard to get somewhere and this definitely helps”, Yadav shared. “As a Nepali YouTuber, I couldn’t be happier as this certainly tells us, Nepalese, that we can do it. We have the best team that anyone could think of and we’re hopeful that we will go a long way. We want to be the first Nepali channel to reach a million subscribers”, he further added.
