Ncell launched ‘Facebook Free’ offer for its subscribers in February for next three months. Under the offer, all of the pre-paid and post-paid users are able to post their statuses, upload pictures, read others’ posts, like and share them without any data charge. Of course, the offer looks perfect as people can access the most popular social media platform for free; and that’s why most of the people are enjoying it thoroughly. But well, what you see is not always what you get. There’s a few number of people who have been raising some serious questions regarding the mobile network operator’s offer and have been alleging it to be violating net neutrality. So, what exactly is net neutrality, how is it violated and what can be the consequences?
