2015 was one heck of year for the Nepalese people. The devastating earthquake followed by the economic blockade showed us some of the most upsetting days of our lives. Many of us would never want to remember those days again but the truth is, the internet doesn’t let you forget about anything.
The talented folks at Super Mandip TV have come up with a short film called ‘Nakabandi – Ek Sojho Nepali Ko Katha’. As the title suggests, the film is set in those very days when there was no fuel at the fuel stations but you could still buy it, if you were willing to pay four or five times more. The film is a sarcastic take on how the people who should have taken tough measures against black marketing were themselves involved in it.
The 6-minute film starring Sujan Ksetri, Somit Majhi, Bibesh Basu, Kesan Siwakoti, Sujan Gurung and Uzwal Rai is directed and edited by Super Mandip. Watch it here and let us know what do you think of it.
