The teachings of all the holy books of every other religion might be slightly different but one thing they all have in common is that they don’t teach us to fight in the name of religion and want us to live together in harmony instead. Whether it’s Gita, Bible, Tripitaka, Quran, Guru Granth Sahib or any other holy book; they all want us to unite; which definitely doesn’t seem to be happening in the world right now.

The former presenter at Kantipur TV and radio jockey at Hits FM, Biraz Singh Khadka, is currently based in Sydney. He occasionally writes and recites poetry. His most recent work is a 4-minute piece called ‘Bhagwan’ which challenges the existence of god and talks about how religion is dividing all of us.
