This Week In Kathmandu: Synthesis Art Exhibition

English philosopher R.G. Collingwood once said, “The craftsman knows what he wants to make before he makes it.…the making of a work of art…is a strange and risky business in which the maker never knows quite what he is making until he makes it.” True that. And if you want to know what four of the finest artists in Kathmandu have been cooking, there’s an event you just can’t afford to miss. The event titled ‘Synthesis Art Exhibition’ is scheduled on November 26th at Calm Restaurant in Tangalwood.

The event that will bring in various aspects of Newari art culture will feature the works of Newari Paubha artist Lok Chitrakar, traditional sculptor Pratham Bajracharya, contemporary artist Rashana Bajracharya , contemporary photographer Aakash Pradham and contemporary sculptor Sapta Raj Bajracharya.
