If we ask your opinion on which Nepali song do you think is currently the most popular one, you won’t have to think much before answering ‘Nira’. And we would have to let you know that you’re absolutely right. Nira is just everywhere – dozens of cover songs and dance covers have already been made from around the world; and many of them have succeeded in winning our hearts. Adding yet another ‘Nira’ dance cover to the list of our favorites is Kristal Klaws Dance Crew from Pokhara.
One of the most popular dance crews from the Paradise City have come up with a spectacular dance cover. Among other sequences, the stop-motion sequence has been very well executed and it looks beautiful. It is something we don’t remember to have seen done by any other Nepali dance crew, and so we would give some extra marks for the effort for that sequence alone.
Interestingly, the video has been shot at Pokhara Cineplex where the various parts of the original song too was filmed. The dance choreographed by Sandesh is performed by himself along with Dev, Pragati, IDO, Kushal and Sudhir. The video shot by Prakash Gurung is edited by Sandesh. The video that was originally posted on Kristal Klaws’ YouTube channel earlier this week had got removed because of the copyright claims. The video is now uploaded from Cinema Art’s official channel and is one of the participants for the Purano Dunga Dance Cover Competition and the crew stands a chance to win Rs. 1,50,000.
We loved the performance. Watch it below and let us know what you think of it.
