Adrian Pradhan To Debut On Silver Screen. Here’s What We Know About The Film So Far!

When he sings, we feel; and along with him, our hearts sing. His songs make us smile, make us cry, fill us with patriotism and make us dance. That’s the magic of his songs — the one and only, Adrian Pradhan. After a spectacular career in music, the former 1974 lead vocalist is soon to debut on the silver screen as an actors as well.

Durgish Films; the makers of successful films Saayad, Hostel and Hostel Returns; have roped the rockstar in for their new film titled ‘Woolen Marry’. Pradhan will be playing the lead role in the film that will be directed by Keshav Pandey, a graduate from Film and Television Institute of India, who has recently directed ‘Kara’ which is soon to be released. Most of the crew members and technicians for the film are being brought from Mumbai.

The film that will go on floor in February next year is not actually based on music and it’s a social drama film. Half of the film will be shot in Nepal and the other half will be shot in various locations of Australia. When asked about this collaboration with one of the most loved singers in the nation, “It’s an honor for us that we will be introducing Adrian Pradhan on the big screen. He is a perfect fit for the lead character of our film and we are sure that he will do justice to his role,” producer Sunil Rawal told NeoStuffs. “He is a hard working person and that’s why he is considered as one of the finest musicians in Nepali music industry. We’re pretty sure that he will shine in the film industry as well.”

Also, the team is currently looking for a female lead for the film. A Newar girl aged between 16 to 20 is preferred. A biodata along with some photographs can be emailed to [email protected] in order to apply for the role.
